  • Various thermodynamic formalisms to predict the deoxidation equilibria: Wagner's interaction parameter formalism (WIPF), Unified interaction parameter formalism (UIPF) and higher order formalisms

  • Al-O, Si-O, Ti-O, Ca-O deoxidation equilibria

Formation mechanism and evolution of non-metallic inclusions in high alloy steel

  • Formation mechanism of non-metallic particles/inclusions (NMI) in steel melts

  • Transient evolution of NMI

  • Modification of NMI (Inclusion engineering)

  • Simple and complex NMI

  • NMI in conventional steel and advanced high strength steels
