A one-day workshop was organized at JSW Dolvi on 15 February 2025, led by Prof. Manish Pande. The workshop was focused on the "thermodynamic aspects of secondary refining of steel", including the concepts of solution thermodynamics, deoxidation of liquid steel, desulphurization through slag/metal mixing, calcium treatment, and inclusion characterization techniques.
