Postdoctoral Fellow (IPDF) Opportunity – Clean Steel Laboratory, IIT Bombay

We, at the Clean Steel Laboratory, IIT Bombay, are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher (IPDF) position to join our dynamic and motivated team. Our group is actively engaged in advancing modern steelmaking through both primary and secondary steelmaking research, with a focus on improving steel quality, process efficiency, and cleanliness.

The research will broadly cover areas in extractive metallurgy, including (but not limited to):

• Steel cleanliness and inclusion control

• Dephosphorization and slag engineering

• Induction furnace steelmaking

• Refractory–steel–slag interactions and refractory life improvement

• Thermodynamic and high-temperature experimental studies

• Kinetics of steelmaking reactions
