Mr. Sanjay, a Ph.D. student from our lab visited the Clean Steel Laboratory (CSL), Graduate Institute of Ferrous and Eco-materials Technology (GIFT), Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, South Korea. The visit/internship was hosted by the Prof. Youn-Bae Kang, a leading expert in metallurgical thermodynamics. During this internship, he has got an opportunity to engage in the fruitful discussion and interaction with the Prof. Y. B. Kang, and his research students, particularly, Mr. Wom-Bum Park, Dr. Young-Joon Park, Mr. Tae-Gyu Wi, Mr. Kim. The opportunity provided him to gain valuable experience and learning to expand the knowledge about the high-temperature experiments and steelmaking thermodynamics. We are grateful for the discussion, guidance, and support provided by Prof. Y. B. Kang and Prof. Manish Pande. Also, special thanks to all the research scholars of the host lab.
